I am thankful that I still have toes to make biscuits with sometimes when I am feeling really good
And we say:
We are also very thankful about that too.

Consider all offers (but you don’t have to talk to anyone about them).
Recently my dear dear friend Tony had a business offer for me. He is considering expanding one of his businesses and offered me the position of heading it up. It would be called Paw da Ping. At any rate, we had a rather less than G rated discussion how I would fit right in and the pay is good.
It does sound stable but I am not sure I want to manage that many humans… Sigh. Whatever should I do?
We had floods around here last week. But they are gone now. We live up on a plateau, which I guess means is very high up or something. Anyway we do not have to worry about flooding but Momma drives through places that do.
Many of her patients had to cancel because they could not get in because roads were covered, so even though they lived up high they could not get to the office.
But it was sunny again on Sunday. So I rolled in it. Momma has lots of those but she is forgetting which ones she already used!
Momma has to work a lot this week. She is seeing lots of patients for another practitioner on two of her days off. This means I will not get nearly so much attention. I hope I do not get lonely
I refuse to look. I am not looking at you.
Really.
You did not campaign for me.
You voted for that other guy–you know the one who won.
You have not given me any special treats for my depression.
You laugh when I say I need something to keep me occupied.
You think just being a cat is enough.
Humph.
No I will not look at you. Not today.
But when I start looking at you again, I would be afraid. Be very afraid.
Well several cats knew it was a lighthouse. The Meezer’s guessed Yaqina Bay Lighthouse first (although their wording left a little bit of question which lighthouse)
However, Cory Cat also knew and knew that Miss Peach’s family got married there (the Meezer’s knew someone got married there). Cory Cat knew that the lighthouse was haunted as well!
So our main guest star is Cory Cat but the Meezer’s are also quite honorable mentions. We are very impressed that they are from New York and knew this information!
Zippy, Speedy and Sadie knew that the lighthouse was one of the few that actually is a house with a light on it.

I never ever woulda guessed…all I was thinkin’ was that DANG, either Chey is HUGE or that house is SMALL.
Yes well I was trying to be obvious. Sometimes if I were real sized you would never find me no matter how much you enlarged our photo.
We want to thank Miss Peach and her family for this photo. They were the ones who sent me off to the lighthouse. My human has been there once but her photos are not so nice.

Yes we love this Lighthouse because my beans were married in it’s Victorian parlor. It is haunted but the ghost did not scare any beans on their special day…we go to see it each year and will be going again in January! Thanks Chey…very cool! Yep that Cory Cat got everything correct! Smart…give em a bag of Party Mix!
Does anyone have a bag of Party Mix? I do have an extra ham for Miles…
Well where am I now? Who knows? I certainly don’t. I don’t recognize anything around me as I look out of the door–or am I looking out a door? Maybe I’m not really here? Well you never know.
Find Full Find Chey Rules here if you need help with a guess.
Need More Cats?
This week we thought we would put up photos of some our friends. While back we asked you to purr for our pet sitter’s cat Taz but he never came home. However, two other cats found her. They are Bonnie and Clyde.
Clyde, being a typical mancat is the one with the paw out. He is quite the cuddler.
Bonnie lives up to her name. Yes, Clyde and Victor no doubt have much to discuss. Bonnie is the household ruler! We thought you would like to meet them.
We are thankful that they found such a good home with our pet sitter. She works from home when she is not pet sitting so they get plenty of attention. And we know that they get some good scritches. Georgia quite likes our pet sitter. I am okay with her. Gemini does not come out for her, although she has seen Gemini on occassion–and this is a big thing with Gemini. She is VERY shy.
Our pet sitter also has horse named Spike that she loves very much. Our person got to meet Spike. They were not sure of each other, but my human doesn’t know horses and Spike has to size up humans before he really decides what he thinks.
He is a bit like I am that way and no doubt we would get along famously.
We hope you’ve enjoyed meeting these kitties. They do not have a blog (yet) but who knows? Maybe their person will enjoy interacting with you so much and enjoy having you admire them so much that they will get a blog… and you know how they long for that… We’ve all been there haven’t we?
When you make a promise to help a friend get better, you keep it. I promised Lando that I would show some more Chey-tocks if he got better. So being unable to resist such a treat, Lando is much better now. So here I am with more Chey-tocks.
I hope you are all pleased. At least now I no longer have to worry about my reputation, do I?! Ha. Who cares what I show now? Ah the freedom!
Well I am disappointed in Cheysuli’s loss of the election. This means she is not moving out. It is really too bad. I was looking forward to having toys to myself again.
It is very rainy here. And Momma is feeling a little better so she is not home all the time any more. I liked it when I got to snuggle all the time. I liked to put my floofy tail in her face to make her feel better.
She did not cough up any cough drops on me!
It is Veteran’s Day here. My Grandpa who I have never met was a Veteran. He was a navy pilot. His birthday was November 10th. He died on November 21, 1998.
So I am still trying to figure out what to do now that there is no longer an election coming up. I have not heard from the President Elect as far as joining him in the White House. I know I am supposed to be patient, but well I have heard those dog rumors and it worries me just a bit.
So I am hanging out here, listening to my human cough. She spit a cough drop on my lovely fur the other day. Sigh. The things I put up with. Soon I’ll be like Yao-lin, suffering due to lack of help. Whatever will I do? I must find myself…
