Meezer Monday

Look!  I have more teeth than the Woman thinks. Just wait until I prove to her how many I have!  She thinks I only have those two in the front and one in the back but look–I have three or four in the back!

AAAAAHHHHHHH.

Oh man.. the Woman forgot my birthday again.  She just read it on the CB…  I didn’t even get any ham!

Sunday Guest Star: TK and Cory Cat

Well we dedicated Find Chey Friday to Cory because the Woman messed up her photo and forgot to mention her last week.  TK came by and guessed first and got it right, “We are not sure where him is, he sure is cute snoozing away. But we guesses that is Mt. Hood in the background, so him would be in Portland OR? Thanks for dropping by our place! TK and Squashies”  Of course I am a HER…

Eric and Flynn said, “Is it Mt. Hood in the distance in the Cascade Range?”  They also guessed I was on I-84 but I was not on I-84 (we weren’t there yet) but Cory got it most clearly, “Are you actually on the Glen Jackson Bridge!!!!?”

Sweet Praline was very accurate saying, “I actually knew this one because my mom went there. I’m going to be more specific. You are riding comfortably on the dashboard of the car in Portland, Oregon with a view of Mt. Hood in the distance. Mom says it is awesome to fly past Mt. Hood in a plane because the mountain is as tall as the plane is high!”

Sniffie and the Florida Furkids, Parker and A Few Good Cats all managed to identify Mt. Hood or that I was in Portland (of course they may not have been correct. I am not yet at the island which means I was probably STILL in Vancouver, Washington (but alas the Woman doesn’t know if she was in Washington or Oregon at the time she snapped these shots). Pierro and the Island Cats had a good idea where I was as well.  Oddly many people got it from the Oregon license plate ahead of me…as if Mt. Hood were the only mountain in Oregon.  Those down in Bend will have words about THAT.

I am not actually on the dash of my person’s car–it’s her office mate’s car.  Therefore, Max I can’t tell you about the Mardi Gras beads as they are not mine.  Alas.

Laila and Minchie said, “You are in your car following that Toyota ahead of you to the dealer to have it’s gas pedal fixed.”   The Woman could have been doing it but Toyota had not yet recalled their cars so it is unlikely that is what they were doing.  They were headed to the cabin to SKI on Mt. Hood!

Find Chey Friday

As you know, the Woman has goofed twice in the last two Find Chey Fridays.  She set up the wrong photo and then she forgot to add that Cory found me in Washington (not exact but she should have been mentioned).  Well this one is for her!  I KNOW she’ll get it but I’m wondering if anyone of you can?

Carnival of the Cats

Thankful Thursday

I am quite thankful that there was a sun spot.   I am not sure it is big enough for both of us. I hope it is!

I am also thankful that the Woman was busier this week.  This means that she won’t be gone doing other things so much.

I am very thankful that she did not bring back those two black cats that she was talking about at the shelter. The Male likes black cats and these two might even be nice to him.  And wouldn’t that give him ideas!

Over all, things are looking up this. I think I will take a nap in this sun before the rain returns!

Meezer Rule Wednesday

I need my own chair. Yes that’s right. I am so desperate for a chair I have been sitting in the Male’s chair when he is not there.

While you are out buying me my own chair, I want a netbook.  And a desk.   And a chef who knows a thousand ways to cook ham.

Meezers have needs.  My rule is that you ought to remember them and happily provide for them!

Tabby Tuesday

It has been a long week. Momma was very stressed out about working some place new but she already said no because the person didn’t know what they wanted and she doesn’t want to put up with that.

She did like meeting kitties.  I had to smell her all up because she smelled like two handsome mancats at Purrfect Pals.   She is going to visit all the kitties at their Petco room where they do adoptions on Friday mornings.  She will just clean the kennels and socialize.  She HAS to socialize for two hours.  I wish someone would make her socialize with me for two hours straight!

I will dream up a way to make that happen.   Soon.

Meezer Monday

“LEAVE ME ALONE!”

That’s what I have to say. The Male wants to change my name to something like Crestor or Astra Zeneka.  The Woman keeps telling him that Flomax (another choice) is a highly inauspiscious name for a cat and he shouldn’t suggest that.  I can’t believe he would consider that of ME!

Then I go to look at my stats and what do I see?  “Nice male bum”.  Really? Where.  Certianly not in our house.  Then I see, “Miffed Siamese.”  As if.  Then I see, “Anyone know who is taping Oprah on March 3, 2010.”  No. No one here knows that.  I think you are way off track.  Finally, “Gas Leak on Plane February 2010.”  Stop saying I had something to do with that!!!

Sunday Guest Star: Laila and Minchie

After a very difficult Find Chey Friday, Laila and Minchie said, “Snoqualmie , WA ? Looks like a good Mexican restaurant across the street.”   And we were all WOW! You cats are good.  There were no real clues that we could see (we didn’t intend this but the Woman liked this particular photo of the town).   Laila and Minchie came back and said, “Well, truthfully, we cheated. Mom put the picture in her Creative Memories Memory Manager software, and kept tweaking the picture until she could read the name of the restaurant. Then she kept googling the name and found it. It took awhile. It was a very good exercise for her brain to help keep it sharp while she’s being a slug these days. She’s totally wiped out and needs a long nap now. teeheehee!”

Actually I don’t think that’s cheating. I know people have used Google maps to find me as well so it’s all good. I’m just happy to be found!  Of course they didn’t mention that Cory gave them a hint by knowing I was in Washington State!

Max thought,”From where you’re laying, I’m guessing you’re lounging outside the Road Kill Cafe…”  Actually Max, I’m not there. I’m in the parking areas with the angled street parking so no one is there. Besides, the speed limit is 30 and because it’s a main highway it’s a nice speed trap for folks from out of town, so it is enforced.   People there are really nice.  The cars wait for you if you want to cross the street.  Of course there is a lot of wild life in the area and sometimes you do see road kill.

Just past the town (which is a place the Woman drives through on her way to work) is a field where the Elk like to hang out.

Mishkat said, “We cheated and read the answers, so we know it’s Snowqualmie (our dad is from Seattle, so he knows the town.) But before we looked, our mom said she thought it was it’s out west because of those angled parking spots and the false fronts. It makes her want to go west.”  I’ll give him that town too!   After all, for a small town, it’s pretty famous up here!  And you know what? I never would have known you read the answers if you hadn’t told me!  Again, all is fair!

Find Chey Friday

Wll, will you look at this?  No water!  At all!   Although I bet this will be hard to find me. I have taken advice and stayed out of the street.  I found my own parking spot!

Carnival of the Cats

Thankful Thursday

We do not often get real close. As you can see there might be a bit of tension here but my tail is high.  Gemini does not trust me. It could not be because I randomly leap on her for not reason or bite at her furs.  She leaps at me!

I think perhaps she is upset that I am in the sun and she is not.  Well, if she didn’t have such big fat floof she could be in the sun too.

I would love to have a cat to cuddle with. I was a cuddler at my first home with the other cats. I was happier to meet Gemini than I was to meet the Woman.  She is the one who won’t cuddle.  She is the standoffish one. Look at how she is looking at me!

Still, I am thankful that I am not an only cat!
