Meezer Monday

Well now I must look aloof and martyred as the Woman is back and wants to pay attention to me.   I mustn’t allow her to believe she has any importance to me. In face, although I ignored the Male all weekend (did you really expect otherwise?), I might just sit on him tonight to show her my displeasure.   I will have to decide later.

Sigh.  Look at this old old photo of me.  She could at least have taken a few new photos.  The good news (to me) is that it was quite nasty for skiing on Saturday so she only got one good day of skiing in.  HA!  Leave me for a ski trip again!  She’ll think twice I bet!

Thankful Thursday

I am finally thankful for some sun.  At least if the Woman has to leave for a few days she left me in some decent weather where I can snooze.   Alas I have only the Male to work with this weekend. I shall be glad when she’s back.

Because she will be gone on Saturday, there will be no Find Chey this Friday.  However, I will be back next week with another difficult to find place!   Perhaps some new photos?

I am quite thankful though that the Woman sold her car for the price she wanted.  Now maybe she can destress a bit with me when she comes home!

Wild Wednesday

Yes! It is I! Cheysuli.

Hear me Roar!!!

Can you hear me now?

Tabby Tuesday

I am checking out some stuff in the moved around house. I must make sure all is well.  I like the blankets best so I shall start there. Maybe there will be a good place for me to snooze while Momma works!

Actually like it when she is on the computer and I can stand and put my tail in her face.  I like to do that.

Momma asks me not to but I do not want her to forget that I am around and having my tail in her face prevents that.   When I really really really need her to know that I am around I put my buttocks in her face as well.

Momma is stressed this week.  They are trying to sell her car and it irritates her to be home and then spend a bunch of time with someone who then thinks she should sell her car (after the mechanic says that it is in exceptional condition and has had excellent care) for the value blue book puts in on a “good” condition car rather than the price she is asking.

Then Momma will be gone this weekend too and she is rather stressed out about that.   I shall have to make biscuits on her to make her feel better while she watches television later on.

Chey purchases World’s Most Expensive Ham

Chey looking plump after her latest ham

Ham loving former presidential candidate, Cheysuli purchased a ham today.  It is considered to be the world’s most expensive ham.

When asked to comment the former candidate was unable to get words out as her mouth was too full.

People visiting the cat during this time said the ham smelled very good and Cheysuli looked a bit fatter than usual.

Sunday Guest Stars: Simba and Eric and Flynn and ‘Kaika

Well, this week I had several cats come close to guessing.   ‘Kaika was the first to guess that I was in Schaumburg.  Simba said, “I think you are in a fancy hotel/convention center in Schaumburg Illinois – on a catwalk.”  ’Kaika then said, “I think Simba may be right that you are at the Schaumburg Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel.”  Eric and Flynn then said, “It is looking down into the seating area of the M.I. Great Room in the Schaumburg Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel.”

I had to go for Eric and Flynn with a photo as they came from the farthest away and still found me (and were the most specific).  Good job to all the cats!  Laila and Minchie and Angel live just a couple of minutes away–by walking.   The Woman got to meet them (well she got to SEE Laila but did not meet her) when she went to Schaumburg, IL last November for the conference.

As many of you guessed, I was on some sort of catwalk that went over the main lobby area.  Many you often have the feeling summed up here that  The Meezers  quoted so I am quoting it,

“we’re too stoopid for this game
too stoopid for this game
so stoopid it hurts

you’re a model and you know what we mean
you do your little turn on the catwalk
on the catwalk baby yeah on the catwalk
and you do your little turn on the catwalk”

Um.. I don’t think so.  If you’ve never been to these places it can be hard (unless we are doing a gimme week when everyone knows–like at Christmas!)

Find Chey Friday

Guess what?!  No water!  I am so pleased.  Anyway there might have been a clue in this week’s posts as to where I am.  Can you figure out what it was and find me?

Carnival of the Cats

Thankful Thursday

We are terribly thankful that Momma got to visit Angel!  He liked her purse and was quite friendly. See–he is putting his stink on her purse so that we had to investigate everything when she got home.

The Woman was impressed with what a big cat he is!  She loves big cats.  Alas, neither Gemini nor I are big cats.  We are both rather small (despite what Mao says).

I am quite thankful as well that things are getting back to normal around here!

Well Now Wednesday

Well now, things are still not back to normal but they are slowly getting there!  I am quite pleased about that.  The furniture is starting to look like there is a home here and they are not really moving. You know I am no more thrilled about the M word than any other cat.

My bed has been moved a bit but nothing I can’t live with, especially now that the fireplace is back to a usable position.

The Woman is getting back into her routine and is not gone so much which is also a good thing.  I hate it when she is gone.

Now I am going to go roll on the Male’s chair. He finds it annoying so I do it… You know what else?  He holds his finger out for me to lick and I ignore it.  But when the Woman holds hers out, I lick hers… it drives him nuts.

Tabby Tuesday

No Momma, but that chair right over there!  See it looks much better right there.

Daddy tried rearranging the house and it is taking more work than he thought. Momma is still adjusting things to make them all fit and look nice.   I am helping her. I am such a helpful cat.

I can’t wait until everything is moved back. Right now there is stuff on my fireplace and Momma can’t turn it on.  I think I shall go back to pointing out where I want things because otherwise maybe I won’t get any more fires at all!

Oh, can you purr for some snow for our mountains.  It’s STILL raining on the slopes and Momma is very discouraged.
